- 1 cup(s) fresh-squeezed lemons (about 8 lemons)
- 2 cup(s) cold water
- 1 tbsp(s) lemon zest
- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 1 basket(s) fresh whole strawberries, stems removed
Bring water and sugar to a simmer and turn heat off when sugar has dissolved. Add lemon zest and juice and stir. Set aside to cool.
Clean and cut tops off of strawberries and place in blender or food processor. Puree the strawberries.
Pour sugar-lemon water in a pitcher and add 2 more cups of cold water along with strawberry puree. Stir and serve over a cup of ice. Enjoy!
